“Surfacing into the Cosmos” is #2 in a large series of Poem Paintings in which Linda Johns integrates words and a painted image to amplify her environmental and metaphysical messages. One medium isn’t just an illustration of the other, nor does it necessarily explain the other. The words flow and pulse with the images, both having evolved simultaneously. Poem Painting #2 is about primal beginnings of life in the cosmos and the contemplation of that stellar mystery.
